Moscow, September 28. The capital hosted a gala ceremony to present the Moscow City Tourism Award, timed to coincide with World Tourism Day. In 2026, nine hospitality industry professionals received the prestigious award, including hoteliers, heads of Moscow tour operators, and tour guides.

In the category “For Contribution to Promoting Moscow in the Domestic and Global Tourism Markets,” the award was presented to the tour operator INTOURIST. It was accepted by Alexander Musihin, Deputy General Director of INTOURIST.

Certificates and honorary badges were presented to the laureates by Evgeny Kozlov, Chairman of the Moscow City Tourism Committee. He highlighted the professionals’ significant contribution to the development of key areas such as business, children’s, and cultural tourism, as well as other industry sectors.

The award is well-deserved recognition of the entire INTOURIST team’s work. The company’s many years of experience, active efforts to promote Moscow as an attractive tourist destination in the domestic and global markets, and introduction of new services and projects have received the highest recognition at the city level.

The Moscow City Tourism Award is designed to recognize outstanding projects and events that significantly improve the quality of tourism infrastructure, unlock the capital’s potential through advanced digital solutions, and create new services for travelers. Since 2004, a total of 164 laureates have received the award.
