Aspart ofthe «Days ofVladimir Region» event, onSeptember 12at VDNH, acooperation agreement was signed, timed tocoincide with the 60th anniversary ofthe Golden Ring tourist route. The document unites the efforts ofthe tour operator INTOURIST and the Tourist Information Center (TIC) ofVladimir Region tocreate and promote anew tourism product.

The main goal ofthe joint work will bethe development and promotion ofnew unique anniversary tours ofthe Golden Ring cities, including for foreign tourists. The project aims toexpand the geography ofroutes and offer their modern interpretation.

INTOURIST will take onthe development ofroutes and their active promotion, asitstood atthe origins ofthe Golden Ring and remains its key operator for domestic and inbound tourism.

The company’s historical connection with the route isalso supported byits experience ofcooperation with МТС (Main Tourist Complex) Suzdal, which atthat time was the only high-quality accommodation facility onthe way. Today the complex has been fully renovated.

Inthe new iteration ofroutes, special attention will bepaid topromoting the Golden Ring inforeign markets and increasing inbound tourist flow. Notably, in2026, the most expensive tour inRussia for foreigners was precisely the Golden Ring route for tourists from the USA— its cost reached 15,000USD per person.

The Tourist Information Center ofVladimir Region will provide coordination, expert, information, and organizational support for the initiative. Vladimir Region plays animportant, historical role inthe route. Vladimir and Suzdal have for decades formed one ofthe most recognizable images ofthe Golden Ring for tourists from all over the world.
