St. Petersburg is Russia’s second largest city called Venice of the North for the numerous canals and islands acquaints you with the history of the city created by Peter the Great to be his “window to Europe” and Russia’s new capital. St Petersburg is the city of palaces and museums, broad avenues and beautiful bridges. See Nevsky Prospect with such architectural masterpieces as the Admiralty, majestic Kazan Cathedral, picturesque Russian-style Church of Our Savior on Spilled Blood, Gostiny Dvor shopping mall, magnificent Anichkov Bridge, Alexander Nevsky Lavra with charming Trinity Cathedral and the cemetery where Dostoevsky and other Russian celebrities are buried. Drive along the Neva River embankments to view the imperial Winter Palace and world renowned Hermitage, Peter and Paul Fortress, St Isaac’s Cathedral, the Bronze Horseman. Proceed to the Summer Garden with an old royal palace and a collection of marvelous Italian Statues and sculpture, the Field of Mars with the eternal flame in the center of the monument dedicated to victims of revolutions and wars. Take pictures of the Spilled Blood Cathedral at the background. Enjoy Square of Arts with a cluster of museums, theatres and concert halls, all built in similar design to form a perfect architectural ensemble. Visit Palace Square to marvel at Alexander Column, the world’s biggest free-standing monument and the Triumphal Arch of the General Staff building.

The State Hermitage is one of the world’s largest and most prestigious museums. The collection started by Catherine the Great boasts over 3 million exhibits from fascinating Scythian gold articles and Oriental treasures to masterpieces by great Renaissance masters and French impressionists. The Hermitage collection is so large that if you saw all the works on display and stopped for one minute viewing each exhibit it would take you approximately nine years to explore the whole collection. After breakfast we invite you to a Half Day Peterhof and Park tour.
Peterhof is an immensely luxurious and beautifully preserved imperial estate located on the southern shore of the Finnish Gulf 29 km away from St Petersburg. Founded by Peter the Great and remodeled by his daughter Empress Elizabeth to be “Russian Versailles” the Grand Palace features such masterpieces as the incredibly ornate Ceremonial Staircase, the richly gilded Ballroom, the splendid white-and-turquoise Throne Room, the heavily decorated Oriental Chinese Study. Admire the interiors of the royal family private quarters decorated with particularly fine silk and wall hangings. Walk in the beautiful landscaped Park and marvel at the Grand Cascade, the most famous ensemble of fountains which runs from the northern facade of the Grand Palace to the Marine Canal and comprises 64 fountains, over 200 bronze statues, bas-reliefs and other decorations. Reveal a fascinating explanation of how the fountains operate without pumps’ use.

In the afternoon we offer you to pay a visit to Yusupov Palace with Rasputin Room.
Visit this elegant 18th c. baroque palace, former residence of the elite aristocratic Yusupov family. The Palace also came down to history as the place of the murder of the black monk Grigory Rasputin. Today the palace operates as a cultural center hosting classical concerts and theatre performances in luxury palace interiors.
After the breakfast we will take you to Pushkin tour.
Located 25 kilometers south of St Petersburg Pushkin (former Tsarskoye Selo, the Imperial summer residence) is world-known for the majestic Russian baroque Catherine Palace. Visit the Grand Hall, a huge ballroom decorated with gilded wood carvings and mirrors; the Picture Gallery with paintings by European masters; the Dining Room with magnificent porcelain dinner services; the Study of Alexander I, the grandson of Catherine the Great. Admire the gorgeous Amber Room faced with natural amber of different colors and hear the story of its re-creation
